# 09. Red team: Mitchell / Enlyte, Solera / Audatex / Qapter, PartsTrader / Orderly, OEC (CollisionLink, EstimateIQ, RepairLogic, PartsTech) Date read: 18 Oct 2026 for every source in this file, unless a row gives a different date. Method: public pages, public PDFs, public JSON (Zendesk Help Center API, Swagger JSON), trade press. No log-ins. No forms sent. No sign-ups. Scope: test every claim in 07-licenses-estimating-parts.md (sections 3 to 6) and 03-parts-networks.md (sections 3.3 to 3.7) for these 4 vendor groups. Labels: - **CONFIRMED**: I read the same fact on a primary source today. - **CONTRADICTED**: a source today says something different. The evidence is in the row. - **PARTIAL**: the claim is true but incomplete. The missing part changes the decision. - **UNVERIFIED**: I could not confirm or break it today. --- ## 0. The 8 corrections that change the plan 1. **CollisionLink has an estimate import. 03 and 07 missed it.** OEC's help center says shops send EMS files from CCC ONE, Mitchell Connect, UltraMate, Audatex, Qapter, Comp-Est, Web-Est, NexConnex and Shop Manager (ABS 8) into CollisionLink through a Windows tray agent. "There is no other way to upload estimates into CollisionLink to create an order." Third-party estimate tools (Web-Est, NexConnex, ABS 8) already feed it this way. 2. **Mitchell Cloud Estimating export needs a Windows desktop utility.** The shop must install "Mitchell Connect.exe" (the Estimate Utility). The export writes EMS or BMS files to local folders, "up to ten destination folders", "when you commit the estimate". So Revv needs a Windows file agent or a manual upload. A cloud-only Revv cannot read Mitchell data. 3. **The Solera Estimate Return API is assignment-driven, so it does not fit a shop tool.** The public Swagger has `POST /api/v2/assignments`. The guide says the client authentication value comes "from Assignment request". You get estimates only for assignments you send. This is a carrier or TPA model. 4. **Solera go-live time is stated.** 07 said "not stated". The guide says: "A production implementation can be scheduled no earlier than 5 business days after the UAT signoff". 5. **PartsTrader terms are stronger than 07 said.** The repairer may not "Discuss or share information gathered through the Platform with other Users or third parties other than the insurance carrier listed on the Quote Request." The terms also forbid using the platform "to build a similar or competitive website, application, or service." 6. **PartsTech has 4 more traps that 07 did not list.** (a) The developer must give PartsTech "access to a full version of its product". OEC owns PartsTech and sells EstimateIQ. (b) The user terms that the API contract pulls in sit at a URL that returns 404. (c) Disputes go to JAMS arbitration in Boston, not to Suffolk County courts. (d) An assignment on change of control is void if PartsTech thinks the buyer is a competitor. 7. **OEC EstimateIQ now bundles the SCRS Blueprint Optimization Tool (BOT).** "With more than 1,500 repair-planning operations, BOT works directly within the EstimateIQ cloud workflow". This is the closest direct competitor to Revv inside a parts network owner. 8. **Mitchell has 2 third-party AI doors, but neither is for a shop tool.** Mitchell Intelligent Open Platform (MIOP) lets an insurer pick "a third-party AI provider". Diagnostics Sync takes ADAS reports from diagnostic providers (Opus IVS first). No public join process exists for either. --- ## (a) Claims check table | # | Prior claim (file, section) | Verdict | Evidence (URL, exact quote, date read 18 Oct 2026) | |---|---|---|---| | 1 | Mitchell's public developer portal is for RepairCenter, not Cloud Estimating (07 §3) | CONFIRMED | https://developer.mitchell.com/Welcome : "Welcome to the RepairCenter Partner Network!"
